Our sounds are generated by Google Cloud AI (Neural2/Wavenet). Some onomatopoeia may sound different from what you expect because AI interprets spelling through each language's phonetic rules. If you believe there's a genuine error, please email us with the specific sound and country.
We're always looking to expand! Send us the country name, language, and example sounds. We'll evaluate whether Google Cloud TTS supports high-quality voices for that language.
Sound playback depends on your browser, device, and network connection. Try refreshing the page, using a different browser (Chrome recommended), or checking your device's volume settings.
